I had a great time in Turkmenistan really enjoyed seeing the door to hell and the town of Ashgabat. The services I received were perfect and were better than I expected. The only thing I want to change is to add more blankets for stays in the yurt during winter.
Fancy Ashgabat, never saw something similar! Beautiful natural sides, interesting historical sites, super! Friendly guide and driver, Darwaza is amazing, camping was great and super tasty food.

A unique country with an incredibly rich history and heritage. There were many highlights, particularly the Darwaza gas crater and beautiful Akhalteke horses; the grand and quirky monuments in the city were fascinating. Owadan Tourism exceeded my expectations. Meylis was an exceptional and informative guide who took great care of his customer.
Turkmenistan looks like a land with a great landscape, although I only saw a part of it, an ancient culture, and a very particular capital. People are friendly and try to talk in the little English they know. Owadan Tourism has provided a good service. Recommended.

The quality of services provided by Owadan Tourism was excellent. They helped aid me with the visa and Letter of Invitation process. I came quite unprepared in regards to Turkmenistan’s history – I have to admit I was and still am quite amazed how many populations lived here over time. At the same time, the country offers great landscapes: Yangikala Canyon for example just breathtaking. We greatly enjoyed our stay in Turkmenistan, and we feel there is a lack of information on this beautiful country outside. It was a little difficult to plan for our trip due to the wrong information we found on online guides. Luckily David Roth was very helpful with planning and Michel (the guide) was extremely helpful and professional at all times. I really enjoyed Turkmenistan and really liked the tourю Although I saw Mary in a little over 1 hour so regret paying for the flight (I feel driving from Ashgabat would be ok). It was very nice to have a free junior guide, I would 100% recommend Owadan Tourism to a friend.
The whole trip organized by Owadan Tourism was very professional and above my expectations. From start to finish, assisting with LOI and airport pick-up. Everything was very smooth. Owadan’s camp at Darwaza is the best one out there and has very clean and comfortable facilities. My guide Maksat even spoke some Dutch.

Turkmenistan is a very nice country to travel. Extremely friendly people, safe place to travel. One of the most historical places we ever visited, so it should be more proposed to foreign countries.
Your crew did a very good job. Especially our guide Maksat, he was a really sympathetic guy and I really appreciated to work with him. The bus driver was as well super-sympathetic and safe in his driving. The tour was intelligently created and for future trips we will do them with Owadan of course. The camping was good, the equipment (tents, sleeping bags) excellent, the jeeps were new and the jeep drivers were loved by our group. So, once again, thank you so much for this brilliant trip!
We gained a good impression of Turkmenistan, both city life and life in more remote areas. The present culture and development of the country were nicely combined with the history of your country, which is very rich indeed.
Accommodation was excellent everywhere, except Hotel Deniz in Awaza, which was dusty and dirty. The meals were all very good; the picnic meals were well selected and the camp meals were generous. The transport was clean throughout, but the aircon in the minibus was poor. The drivers were good, especially in the desert. The guide was excellent, with a sense of humor and keen to learn. She was very thoughtful and extremely capable and professional, thank you! Turkmenistan is a vast country of huge contrasts. Owadan Tourism enabled us to have an excellent insight into these contrasts in a well-managed tour. Although some journeys were very long, each day brought unexpected surprises – superb!
All services provided by Owadan were excellent. Being vegetarian, Owadan did its best and I am well satisfied with the food at all places.

Turkmenistan gave a very good impression to me and I will suggest to have Turkmenistan solo tour or only in combination with Uzbekistan in the future, to be able to see more. Keep on using the good luxury hotel.
Hotel Oguzkent Sofitel was excellent, the restaurant meals perfect. The transport was good and clean, and the driver very good. The guide was excellent and very helpful, really perfect. We were surprised about how modern the new city is, clean and wonderful. The trip was very interesting.
